Patch 0.5.0 introduces an incredibly robust In-Game Build Planner. You can now pre-select your desired path directly on the passive tree, highlighting exactly which nodes you need to take as you level up.

This change makes leveling far more intuitive, especially for newer players who previously relied on external guides or tools.

Campaign Streamlining and Reduced Backtracking

Grinding Gear Games took a serious look at campaign pain points and made major structural changes that significantly improve pacing:

Waterways Overhaul: The notoriously tedious puzzle mechanics in the Waterways area have been heavily simplified with an easy pressure-plate system.

The Halani Gates Fix: Players no longer need to constantly zone in and out of the gates repeatedly to progress the main questline toward Traitor’s Passage.

These excellent adjustments drastically reduce campaign fatigue, letting you reach the thrilling endgame mapping systems much faster.

These quality of life improvements collectively make the early and mid-game experience much smoother, reducing unnecessary downtime and confusion.
